Exchanges between people few notice
Or care about
In some respects
Most heavenly things on earth
Are like that

We misinterpret victory
When we assume it’s winning in a race
That is sheer power
And sheer power
Is not love it’s naked force
It fails us

We all can have a victory
When we take love to be the winning prize
Fulfilling that
Fulfills it all
There is no better way to live
Believe it
