WE DO NOT KNOW

We do not know what Soul life is

When are here away from there

Maybe some boredom tethers us

Or we gete nudged by some old care

But then again when we return

As we perhaps have done before

Re-acclimation does proceed

But are we not changed at the core

We know much love is beyond us

And it has magic that arrests

But like hands on a balky clock

We know not what it might attest
