Who Needs a Calendar?

There is a calendar on my computer

and probably on my phone

and on the laptop I don’t use

I use none of them

Living in the now is all there is

I know about dates and

make them as necessary

It is always a big deal for me

So I find some way to feature it

But calendars and holidays and other

appurtenances of a past I am well

rid of

I don’t need them

I accept I live in a dictatorship

of Microsoft

And they will continue to

blindside me with things they

think I’ll need

I accept this as the COL

The Cost of Living

But I don’t have to use what I don’t want

or need
