Without accessing consciousness

A pickle’s what we’re in

We do not see a way ahead

Or how we can begin

Conscious thought is natural

It’s logical and good

A pause, awareness, thoughtfulness

Doing as we should

Without this simple strategy

We hit a downward trail

And with our power thus ignored

We may seem bound to fail

But consciousness is powerful

And it will penetrate

And there’s no day we can’t end up

In a much better state
