Attention movie mavens! Oscar night is almost here and to help you prepare and keep track of Hollywood’s big night, here is a ballot suitable for printing (click on the above link to get a larger edition). And here too are my official, genuine, certified predictions, based on the eight nominated movies I actually did see, of who and what will be taking home Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences gold on Sunday, night, starting at 8:00 PM EST (God’s time zone). Also included for your boning up pleasure are links to my reviews of the underlined nominees.
BEST PICTURE: Everything Everywhere All At Once (Saw it, wasn’t crazy about it, but lots of folks did and at least pretended they loved it. Plus Hollywood really wants to make nice with lucrative foreign markets.)
