Flash Fiction from A to Z

April is a great month.

Better than March because the weather gets warmer and the flowers come out, which makes people hopeful.

Changes in the weather make people feel reborn.

Days are longer.

Everyone seems more optimistic.

Finally we can put away our winter coats!

Granted, we still have to be ready for rain at any given moment.

Hardly a day goes by without some sort of epic rainstorm.

I like the rain, so it doesn’t bother me, but some people really can’t stand it.

Just be sure to carry an umbrella everywhere you go and you’ll be fine.

Knowing when it’s going to rain with complete accuracy is impossible.

Leaving home without an umbrella is asking for trouble, even if you check the forecast.

Most people who get caught in the rain could prevent it if they got in the habit of carrying a small umbrella at all times.

Not to harp on this point, but it’s really important.

Otherwise, you could get caught in the rain every day of the month.
