And I admit these challenges do help when I am in one of those writing funks.

Betsy was
bleeding vital
fluids all
over the floor.
She was not
doing well,
for sure.
I rushed her in
for a checkup and
prayed she was
not suffering too much.
She is not a
young filly anymore.
