Smoking Hot, A False Alarm, Girlfriends —The Best of Times
The Best Friend Who Always Makes You Laugh In Life
Smouldering fire woke us—dying embers once a roaring blaze. We must have dosed off while warmed by golden amber flames, curled up, all comfy, cozy on the couch.
Both of us were happily fatigued after a laughathon weekend. A screaming good time at Saturday’s bed race. Holding onto the bedposts, our race team pushed us laughing and giggling across a frozen lake to the finish line.
By mid-day, most knew us by name. Hard not to spot the only two adults sans kids on a family-themed weekend.
Being around kids brought out the kid in us.
We don’t stop playing
because we grow old;
we grow old because we stop playing.
— George Bernard Shaw
This was the weekend we said yes and packed in the fun.
