Happy February I say with might
One month closer to spring’s delights
Outside it’s still cold as Hell
But there’s work to do, so let’s do it well
And fortunes begging to be made
So button up your warmest coat
No stopping till we get paid!
And so on this turgid Tuesday our motivating mission is to be grateful for at least three things, written down on an ongoing list preferably (it’s okay if there are a few repeats) and immediately thereafter be:
Tenacious: hold on tight, keep your grip, even when those around you are starting to slip. Stand your ground, don’t give up, especially when times get tough.
Unstoppable: and in order to be unstoppable, first one must get started. And then one must not stop.
Empathetic: the pain of others is real. Take a minute to truly listen and feel what they’re going through. And if you can, help ’em out.
