Once upon a time it was a one-day event, then it expanded to one week, and now, it lasts one month. YAY!
Women’s History Month was initially just International Women’s Day, a day that commemorated the Feb. 28 meeting of socialists and suffragists in Manhattan in 1909.
One day? Come on!
Hi writers and readers at Everything Fun. Just for clarity, this is an invitation for both males and females to contribute and share the lives of those women in your lives who are deserving of honor.
This month is an opportunity not to be missed in the writing world.
It’s Women’s History Month.
It’s a month when we can all rightly celebrate present-day women’s achievements, as well as those of our forebears, augment them into the halls of fame, even if our halls of fame are just right inside Everything Fun, or any other publication for that matter.
Though Everything Fun is essentially for fun, for things that tickle us from one day to another, it’s also a place to write about things inspirational, things courageous, and there have been so many courageous women in history.
