A star dimly shines in the constellation we call Horologium. It is circled by seven large planets and two insignificant ones. Around one of those insignificant planets orbits a small unassuming moon

And because of that unassuming moon following the insignificant planet around its distant star, life blossomed. The moon deflected meteors and asteroids, its mild, regular gravitational pull helping life evolve. Eventually some of that life looked up at their moon. Different cultures gave it different names, but they all considered it a parent, long before they realized the science to back these thoughts.
