As I get older, I realize why my great-aunts cheated at cards.

It’s well known to humans that we are not as physically adept as the youngsters as we age. In a test of pure speed, the older human will lose if all other attributes are equal. Our family played a card game called “Squeak” where being fast was the key to winning. Yet, my elderly great-aunts would consistently rank in the top two or three when we finished playing.
