Chris Rock hands Will Smith a get-out-of-jail-free card after slap at the Oscars.
Chris was presenting the best documentary feature when he made a joke about Will’s wife Pinkett Smith’s (who has alopecia) shaved head by comparing it to the look of Demi Moore in “G.I. Jane.”
Will went on stage and smacked the presenter in a moment that was censored in the official telecast. The actor and Oscar winner returned to his seat and swore, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f*cking mouth!”
Variety disclosed the LAPD statement:
“LAPD investigative entities are aware of an incident between two individuals during the Academy Awards program. The incident involved one individual slapping another. The individual involved has declined to file a police report. If the involved party desires a police report at a later date, LAPD will be available to complete an investigative report.”
