I published a ‘STRAIGHT’ romance short story (or novelette), but don’t worry, it is still queer AF! (external amazon link) Sit Happens started as a standard straight romance short story of less than 7k words written for submission to an anthology. But I didn’t submit it. Why?

Procrastination. Perfectionism. Laziness. Forgetfulness. Etc, etc.

All that, but thank goodness I didn’t because turns out, my characters are transgender. 🏳️‍⚧️ So now, Sit Happens is a queer trans romance just over 10k words — novelette in length but definitely still a short story in structure.
