I’m impressed with Postmates and see the value they provide people, especially during this Covid crisis. I’ve used their app many times to try out restaurants that weren’t allowed to open.

But I have to say their new campaign— the Don’t Cookbook—is distasteful for those of us who respect the art of cooking and the tradition of preparing meals together.

The Postmates Don’t Cookbook includes provocative pull-quotes and captions with phrases like,

“Say no to cooking,”

“Never cook, always eat,”

“This book saves kitchens.”
