In an intriguing article she wrote two weeks ago, Kim Petersen included this quote:

I can picture (some? many?) women nodding vigorously as they read this.

I also picture (many? some?) men shaking their heads slowly, thinking: “Correct, except the genders should be flipped.”

And there lies the rub, as I once heard Julia Child shout when she finally found the adobo she had been looking for desperately.
