Neil Gaiman said, “All fiction has to be as honest as you can make it — this I believe.” I love that he shared when he is able to be as honest as he can, even to the point of being uncomfortably open through his stories, he establishes a true resonance with his readers. His stories start to ignite a cathartic healing process in others, even though he was writing about things that didn’t exist.

I believe that when we become honest in our writing, no matter what the genre or format is, and that we embrace who we are through our writing, we are connecting deeply to this infinite Source that connects us all. And anyone who reads this kind of soulful work is given this additional bridge to connect to infinite Source too.

This is powerful. And this is what I want my writing to facilitate too.
