Nope, I don’t care if you made $10,000 your first month on Medium. I haven’t and obviously am not going to make that much in a month, so there. Whatever viral story you wrote is not one that I thought of, or I would have written it. The story structure you used, or the tea you drank, or your lucky underwear won’t help me. I’ve got to think of my stories, research my stories, and carefully write and edit my stories and hope they do well. I have NOT had a single story make $1,000 in a month.

I admit I would love to have a viral story happen, but I’m not going to copy your methods of success. I’m not even going to read your big money stories. I have had more than enough. Do I sound bitter? Or jealous? Good, because I am.
