The move towards greater government centralization seems necessary based upon the evidence of the last several years. There may have been some kind of ideas about democratic competition, but markets have consolidated.
No reason then, for the government not to take over some market functions. And we will be better off for it.
But you need to prepare people's minds. When it comes to such affairs we need to love the government more.
Soldiers obey the State. Or the leaders, when at war — why cannot the citizens obey the government in peacetimes? All of this needs to be handled with tact and persuasion.
