This is my skin cancer portrait. I’ve sketchified it and filtered it because the real face in my mirror right now is hideous with massive red splotches. Look closely and you’ll see the pain in my eyes.

I’m currently in a four-week topical chemotherapy treatment for cancerous and precancerous skin on my face, hopefully saving my lower lip from devastating surgery.

It’s July and I know you are spending time outside, but for your own sake, cover up and/or wear sunscreen. I do not want to see your skin cancer portrait and neither does anyone in your family.
