What’s your writer bird type?

Lately, I’ve been seeing a LOT of seagull writing. You know the type — they pick through the picnic trash on the beach and the bait entrails left on fishing docks, looking for the juicy bits they can carry home and regurgitate to their baby gulls.

Your best writing happens when you stop throwing up the same old garbage. Seek out your own food. Be a predator — maybe a great horned owl. They aren’t afraid of anything. Hunt down something alive and take THAT home to your followers to chew on.

If you’re interested in breaking the chains holding you back from your best writing, join me on Facebook on the Breakout Writing page. We’ll be starting a mastermind soon for a limited group of owls.
