Wow, I was just reading this story by @MichelleWoo, the Senior platform editor at Forge, and I thought, “This is ingenious. How is it I never thought to do this?”

Maybe I’m not as smart as Michelle, but I am now a little bit wiser because I am a reader. Plus, I can incorporate this into my editing and proofreading practices.

The premise is that everyone tells us to read our stories aloud before publishing. Michelle tells us to use a Text to Speech App. I will start using the Chrome extension, Read-Aloud.

So, I thought I would share this with everyone here on Everything Shortform
