Back in the day, when you wanted to know the answer to a question, you had to get off your couch, put on your shoes, and go to the library.

And if the library didn’t have the answer, you had to wait for a librarian to come back from their lunch break.

But now, you just use your smartphone and voila! Information at your fingertips.

It’s amazing, really.

Except for one thing.

What happened to good old-fashioned human interaction?

These days, people are so absorbed in their screens that they forget to look up and see the world around them.

Conversations are conducted through text messages and social media, and people are so busy scrolling that they don’t even notice when they’re walking into walls or lampposts.

It’s like we’ve forgotten how to be present in the moment and connect with each other face-to-face.
