Economy is the Backbone of every country. The Economic activities are regulate in the state and byond the border with the currency. The strong currency comes up with rapid economic progress, profits and investment opportunities.

In today’s blog I am going to introduce you with Pakistani Currency "Pkr". Without much ado let’s get it started 👇:

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder and First Governor General of Pakistan. The image of Jinnah can be found on every Pkr Note. Know more about him

PKR Currency Notes :

Here I am going to some currently active booknotes of Pakistan currency :

5000 PKR Note :

This is the largest note of Pakistan currency issued on May 27, 2006 The building on the note is Faisal Mosque, Islamabad.

It is the 5th largest mosque in the world design by Turkish architect Vedat Daloky. Faisal Mosque historically important for Pakistan because it was founded when the Shah Faisal King of Saudi Arabia visited Pakistan. I’m not sure but I think he was the first king of Saudi Arabia to visit Pakistan.

1000 PKR Note :

One Thousand Pkr note is the second largest book note in Pakistan. The image on note is the building of Islamia College Peshawar. Historically Islamia College Peshawar has great importance for Muslim of British India because it was established in 1913 after the annulment of Partition of Bengal in 1911 in Delhi.

500 PKR Note :

Five Hundred Pkr Note was issued in 2006. This green color note have Badshahi Mosque image on it. Actually Pakistan is an Islamic country and Islam is declared the state religion in the constitution that’s mosque holds great importance in the history and culture of Pakistan.

Badshahi Mosque was built Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Lahore.

It is located beside the Greater Iqbal Park previously known as Minto Park, Lahore.

100 PKR Note :

Red colored One Hundred Pkr note is the most attractive note in Pakistani currency issued in 2006. The building on the note is Ziarat, Balochistan.

Ziarat is the house of founder of Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah was born in Wazir Mansion Karachi but he spent the last days of his life in Ziarat.

50 PKR Note :

The second smallest note of Pakistani currency is 50 Pkr. It was issued in 2008.

It is designed by adding the image of K2 mountain (also known as Goodwin Austin). K2 is the world 2nd highest peak located in Pakistan.

10 PKR Note :

The smallest note of Pakistan currency is 10 Pkr. Khyber Pass is the symbolic picture of 10 Pkr Note.

Khyber Pass is important historically because it connect Pakistan with Afghanistan.

It’s an important trade route between two countries. Although the terms between Pakistan and Afghanistan haven’t been temperate so long. The important International Pass is Khanjrab Pass that connects Pakistan with China.

First PKR Coin :

This is first rupee coin of Pakistan issued in 1948. Before the issuance of Pakistani currency Notes are issued by Reserve Bank Of India. As I studied Reserve Bank Of India was established under the Act 1935 by British Government.

Preclude Remarks :

Patriotism is a natural spirit in human being. We all love our homeland and it’s national interest and assets. The purpose of sharing currency notes is to introduce the readers with the Pakistani currency it’s potential to grow with the developing economy.
