Do you dream of revolution?

I do.

The world can be the most beautiful thing in existence but man can twist it into the most horrible reality that we wish was just a dream. The sick, the poor, the dying, the neglected, the silent masses drowned out my the overpowering weight of the rich. The 1% of the 1%. That's where the Power resides. Don't you want to take Power into your hands and use it? Not as an act to selfishness but as an act of selflessness. The one who sacrifices his health, his time and his money for the people, for the world. There are a select few rich and powerful people that do honestly care about the planet and the longevity of the human race and it's values, culture and essence. They are far and few in between but they are the guiding light in this dark time.

Families are being torn apart on a daily basis as a consequence of the actions of selfish megalomaniacs. Take the United States of America, for example. They once were the land of the free, home of the brave, the land where the American Dream lived in the hearts of its citizens and in the minds of onlookers. That dream, that land, isn't what it once was. A tyrant has pulled the strings of the puppet population with nationalistic views. Racial segregation is supposed to be a thing of the past, Nazi Germany no longer exists, South African apartheid no longer exists. The internet provides cowards with a tool, a weapon, to attack other citizens of the world from the comfort of their homes without having to see who their words are hurting. The rise of nationalism and far-right mentality is back in fashion like it's the 1930’s.

What can you do? How can you change the world?

Love those around you. We are all we have in this universe and love Trumps hate.

Educate yourself for knowledge is power. Your mind is your weapon. Take up arms in the metaphorical sense, no lives will be lost in a civilised political discussion.

Let yourself be heard. Peaceful protests and art are your voice. Use your pain, anger and frustration to create, to show to world what you feel.

Be patient. Our time will come. You must climb the mountain to ride the slope. It won't be easy to endure imminent social conflicts but it will pay off in the end.

A new era of political thought is dawning and it will shine brighter than the sickening dark flame of the current one.

Looking to do your part? One way to get involved is to read the Indivisible Guide, which is written by former congressional staffers and is loaded with best practices for making Congress listen.
