Voter Fraud Conspiracy — A Straight Up Lie
These allegations of voter fraud are straight up lies, not alternative facts. For the record, alternative facts are lies and there is no alternative to that fact.
So, here are some facts:
There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Widespread voter fraud is nearly impossible.
President Trump either knows this and is choosing to pursue this lie or he can’t accept the fact that he lost the popular vote. Regardless, this is dangerous and could lead to voter suppression.
This is authoritarianism, folks. These are similar tactics that we have seen be used in other parts of the world. A leader will sow seeds of doubt, confusion, and paranoia and then promise that they alone can provide security.
