Realio Partners with evmOS to Expand the RWA Outreach
The Realio Network, an Layer-1 multi-chain web3 ecosystem focused on the issuance and management of real-world assets (RWAs), partners with Evmos to upgrade to evmOS.
evmOS is a source-available framework for building customizable, interoperable Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains enabled with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). The Realio Network now becomes part of the growing interchain ecosystem of application-specific blockchains and will leverage the Inter-Blockchain-Communication protocol (IBC) to transact with over 90 chains.
With evmOS, the Realio Network was able to access built-in EVM compatibility, enabling a first-of-its-kind native multi-staking public Proof-Of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism for both Realio’s utility token, RIO (Realio Network Token), and its hybrid digital security token, RST (Realio Security Token).
evmOS also offers EVM Extensions, allowing Realio Developers to access Cosmos native functionality without leaving the familiar EVM environment or Solidity. These evmOS modules include erc20 (for token conversions) and feemarket (for dynamic gas fees).
The Realio Network launched with a unique value proposition, the Realio Asset Model, which allows the issuance and transfer of user-created assets. RWA tokens created on the platform can be hosted on several Layer-1 blockchains connected to a single interoperable ecosystem. IBC connections, available through evmOS, open new doors, and possibilities for the Network and its users.
evmOS EVM compatibility will allow Realio Network developers to create an array of innovative dApps to drive advancement in the RWA space. Many blockchains frequently use EVM’s for smart contract standards, given its extensive tooling, infrastructure ecosystem, and large developer community. Additionally, evmOS flexibility and compatibility with the Cosmos SDK will allow the Realio team to experiment and innovate, building new modules, such as their recently launched multi-staking module.
The Realio Network, accessible through the Realio Investment Platform and other dApps, can facilitate the management of RWAs, widening access to new investors while automating compliance obligations.
