A Different Type Of Surrender
I am beginning to understand surrender from a different perspective than what has been asked of me up until recently.
In the past, I’ve been asked to meet surrender in the face of uncertainty and fear.
When I had so many questions, none of them with answers.
When I had no idea where I was going or how I was getting there.
The only option was to give up control, release, surrender.
Keep going and surrender to the truth that clarity will come in time.
Lately, as answers have made themselves apparent and wishes are being fulfilled, I am again faced with a need to surrender.
To give up questioning them.
To give up doubt at my ability to hold it all.
To allow room to receive.
“You wished for this, didn’t you?” the universe asks. “Surrender to receiving it.”
