Brightened by delight
A light filled with life
Splendor attracts flies
But you shine so high,
Far away from all shrines
Without arrogance, you look down on us
Not a fool, but so full of yourself
Giving, not wanting anything in return
A love so hot my heart, burns
My ideal, I want to be yours
For years, you never took me as I came
Desperate, because you keep playing games
Resentment, I swore to take into my grave
Through dark caves, I paved my way
Staring at darkness, I found the gray
Enlightened, by obscurity
Blinded, by security
An epiphany
I came to realize that
Your indifference paid me the most respect
You saw me, more than I did
Not accepting me any less than I was
That is when I understood what is true love
I now look at you, eye in the eye
Wholly consumed, by your fire
And all that is left of me
Is your very purity
Is this, what they call, coming together?
