The tiniest shadow blocks the sun,
It stays in place no matter the degree of the sun.
Along the road, it walks with you, side by side.
Never will leave you, never will it make you cry.

Shadows serve a purpose,
It is not always darkness alone.
Shadows remind us that no matter the despair.
