If you live (or grew up) in a place that constantly tell (told) you how worthy you are, psychological well-being is almost natural for you.

Unfortunately, for most of us, it's not so. We live and grow up in places that constantly tell us we need to fix something (s) about ourselves before we can match standards (only God knows who set).

And painfully, some of those things cannot be fixed.

For example, society blackmails you for liking something different from what everybody else likes and you don’t understand who set the standard for what must be liked.

However, the sad story mustn't continue. This is the part where I teach you how to plot a new story for yourself.

I have noticed that our lives are simply collections of stories.

The stories you hear the most form your perception about everything, including yourself.

If all you were told is that you are someone to be worked on, you’ll grow up endlessly working on yourself even when nothing is wrong.

I've also learnt that a good number of those stories aren't true. One of the untrue story is that we must meet up certain social, physical standard to be worthy of abundant life.

It's arguable but it's not true.

God thought we met the standard that's why he released us to earth. So it's either our standards are wrong or God is lying.

Of course God don’t lie.

So? Rewrite your story. Stop waiting on the environment to give you new "worthy" stories.

The moment you find stories about you that are incongruent with what actually is, tell yourself what is and keep saying it.

If you have heard demeaning stories for so long, you need to tell yourself constructive stories enough to replace the place those demeaning stories have in your heart.

Till you believe your story, don’t stop telling. Any story not building you, don’t join in telling it.

You are a story teller too and your story has the strongest effect on your life!
