“Focus!”
“Pay attention!”
“Why are you not present?”
These were the words that people of my past have told me repeatedly.
And these were instances where I would doubt myself endlessly.
Was I not paying attention?
Was I not focus?
Where was I if I wasn’t present?
What does it mean by “I am everywhere”?
Blame it on my air sign, I guess?
That was more than a decade ago.
Thankfully, I moved on from that.
I am still not focus, not paying attention and yes, everywhere. But one thing changed — I am no longer doubtful of myself. Because I have learnt to channel my attention onto things that matter, staying focus on my goals, and being present only when needed yet everywhere that would spark my growth, and contribute to my goals.
Weakness, when tweaked becomes strength.
I am ever so grateful to the people who listed my weaknesses because they are now my strengths.
