Nate and Nadia love to travel. Now they’re ready for their biggest adventure yet: Japan. Can they do it?
Nadia: We’ve been together for 10 years and we’ve travelled a lot. Our big trip that we’re saving for now is Japan. We’ve always wanted to go. We just love food and also it’s somewhere where there’s like countryside but also city life. It seems like a really good balance of both. And yeah, we haven’t been outside of North America really much together.
Nate: Well we’ve been to the Caribbean. But we haven’t really gone on like an adventure trip, an immersive trip outside of our comfort zones with a completely new culture. We’re hoping to go next June. Dates haven’t been locked down, but we know we’re going and we’re desperately trying to save for it because it’s super expensive. Every time we get paid we take a percentage of our paycheque and put it away so that we can’t touch it. We’re probably not going to backpack, we want to stay at hotels. We’re really big foodies so we want to make sure that we have enough to properly enjoy it.
