My friend Geoffrey has had a standing table reservation at John’s of Bleecker for more than 30 years. To walk in with Geoffrey is to be welcomed by the entire staff as family. In a day and age where engagement is measured in clicks, taps and page-views — a few hours of distraction free conversation with friends, old and new, over the best pizza on the planet can not be measured. Splitting a ticket with #exactchange was a bit of a challenge but Geoffrey took my dollar coins and spent them on Gelato next door. I’ve never been to John’s of Bleecker without Geoffrey but I would imagine he is not alone in the reception of their fantastic friendly service.
