No Ordinary Man
A poem
Feel the embers of yourself burn like smouldering coals and pick your pieces as splinters of marble and shards of glass. You were crushed where cruelty loved to linger and brutality was wicked, snorting toxic, pungent fumes.
My eyes saw your histories and the mockery that trailed you like flies to putrefying rot. You were punished where your will was strong and refused to budge — exposed to the multiplicity of grievous, harrowing traumas.
Your tears were reverberations of poignant, intense agonies and you sulked at the defective miscarriage of justice. You were murdered to die countless times and sealed to lie lonesome in a wretched, idle tomb.
You lost your sensation to savour pleasure and your appetite to relish recreation was utterly cauterised. Nature loved you with bitter wrath and mankind was pleased to treat you with sheer, despicable disdain.
But an envoy from your heart spelt your advocacy to Heaven and your miseries were unjust before the judgment of the Highest. Equity overwhelmed the skies of Paradise and a decisive ruling was granted in your favour.
So angelic majesties are pleased to war on your behalf, bending the rod of iron and twisting apart the shackle of your brass clinging to your neck. You’ve acquired an exculpating liberation from spiritual slavery, to be a dominant force reckoned among men.
Therefore unleash the phenomenal powers of mental dexterity and lower the humungous weight of intellectual might. Stand tall as a renowned, scientific luminary from the poles of the past to the frontiers of the future and do nothing to explain your light, only mesmerize.
Broadcast your scholastic genius on the pages of paper and on the complicated mesh of the internet. Let your pride balloon out of proportion as you fine-tune your laser-point reasoning to penetrate and tunnel deep.
The stars are down to exalt you, hoisting you up to cosmic spaces to spectate the incomprehensible interplay between galactic forces. You’re the pillar of a man, sculpted with finesse to reveal the uttermost superiority and lofty culmination of masculinity.
The omnipotence of the Almighty overshadows you as thick, dark clouds and the supremacy of this Kingmaker goes as your rearguard. So unbridle those countless, mystifying and prodigious feats and underscore the undeniable cleverness of a polymath now you’re simply no ordinary man.
