And it’s not like the hazing ritual is really all that hard: just spend a night out in Dark Moon Vale, the large forest to the west of Montrose University.
“Monster U,” says my best friend Tony from beside me. We’re in the back yard of the coed fraternity, listening to the president describe what it takes to get into the Sigma Epsilon Xi house.
“What?” I ask, annoyed because I’m trying to pay attention. I want this so bad. I’ve heard the parties are more like orgies. The president is saying something about bringing back proof that we stayed the night out in the woods. Wait, how the hell do you prove that?
“That’s what the students here call the school,” Tony says. “You know, Montrose, monster? And they’re telling all the freshmen there really are monsters out in the woods.”
