When is the right time to eat a frog and how to eat that frog?

You are given a very important task to do. You need to eat a frog every day. There is no way of escaping or avoiding this and you must eat a frog every day. The only thing is, you can eat that frog at a convenient time. You can eat it in the morning or in the evening or even before you go to sleep. But you must eat the frog.

If we are given such a task then, Most of us will stare at the frog for an hour and thinking on how to eat it. Some of us even thinking of the worst thing that happens because of eating the frog.

So how to eat the frog?

If you ever in that situation of eating a frog, just follow this.

  • Eat the frog in the morning as soon as you wake up.
  • Don’t stare at that frog. Just eat it.
  • If you need to eat 2 frogs then eat the one which is ugliest first.

Here the frog is just a metaphor and not necessarily the actual frog. So you can replace with frog an actual task which you hate to work but it is a very important one. Most of the time we all need to do tasks such as eating the frog.

  • Start work on the task as soon as you wake up in the morning. If its office work then starts it as soon as you reach the office. Just start it without even a second thought.
  • If you have multiple tasks to complete then take the one you either hate or tough to do it.

Why do you need to do it earlier?

If we postpone the task then we keep on thinking that task and this will affect other tasks too. If we eat the frog in the morning itself then what else can happen worse than eating the frog?
