Bullying, conflicts or a bad atmosphere — this is unfortunately often the reality at our schools.
We from “exclamo” want to help to change that. We want to ensure that every student treats every other student equally and respectfully. With our project we fight against racism, sexism, anti-semitism and all other forms of discrimination.
The idea of exclamo emerged during the BCG ideacompetition business@school,
Our group, from the Canisius Kolleg in Berlin consisted of Ann-Kristin Balve, Kai Lanz, Margaretha Raffauf and Matthias Wind. During the competition, we won the nationwide Social Entrepreneur Prize in 2018.
While working on the idea, we once again became clearly aware of how big the problem of bullying actually is and how urgently effective solutions are sought.
A lot has happened to us since this award ceremony in Munich.
Going from idea to execution, our team changed: The former members Margaretha, Ann-Kristin and Matthias left the team. That’s when I, Kai, got Julius de Gruyter and Jan Wilhelm excited for the project..
We, Julius, Kai, and Jan , are turning the idea of “exclamo” into reality — together with an awesome team.
