Working out is directly involved with brain health, when you work out “your brain recognizes this as a moment of stress (What happens in your body when you exercise)”. When you notice yourself running really fast on the track at the gym you’re running so fast because your brain is getting stressed out which is why you can keep running, your brain is also pumping adrenaline. Exercising also makes you feel better emotionally, thats because of endorphins, a hormone that is released when you exercise giving you a sense of euphoria. Endorphins also help you to forget the pain and exhaustion that comes with working out. According to researcher MK McGovern, the endorphins minimize the physical pain and discomfort associated with exercise (What Happens in your body when you exercise)”. Endorphins are the reason we can work out without extreme pain. “physical exercise helps you build a brain that not only resists shrinkage, but increases cognitive abilities. Exercise encourages your brain to work at optimum capacity by causing your nerve cells to multiply, strengthening their interconnections, and protecting them from damage (what happens in your body when you exercise)”. Working out helps your brain get stronger and help it to strengthen the nerves.
