I was in seventh grade when I decided to start working out. I at first I didn’t do it every day because I had cheer practice during school so it was only necessary for me to work out over the weekends. I started working out because I had noticed that my laziness had been catching up to me. I was on a new diet because I had recently found out that I had several food allergies keeping me from eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. Exercising was one of the ways I stayed healthy because I didn’t know how to cook and my mom wasn’t home that often during the times I would be hungry so I constantly ate junk food, and by that I mean A LOT of junk. Majority of my exercise came from running track at my middle school or cheer practice. After my first day of track I came home and laid on the floor, I was so tired from the work out that we had done that day. When a few weeks had passed I kept getting stronger and I was able to do really well in meets and I was getting stronger in cheer. During that time I wasn’t hungry all of the time, and I could make it up the stairs at school without getting winded. A year later the tolerance to my allergies were manageable so I was able to start eating some of the things that caused a very little reaction when I first had the test done. Exercise has really helped me live a happier healthier life.
