There are a few key questions analysts ask when evaluating a project. Here are Eximchain’s answers.

Does the project really require a token?

Yes, Eximchain’s Native Tokens will be used to pay network fees, validate state changes, and execute governance. The tokens are an indispensable part of the overall network and ecosystem. They will allow companies to connect, transact, and share information in ways not currently possible in traditional supply chain applications, which contain information silos and numerous compatibility issues. The need for supply chain actors to continuously share information and transfer value to other partners make it one of the best spaces for implementing a tokenized solution.

How strong is the team?

The Eximchain team comes from a diverse range of professional, academic, and geographic backgrounds. With a strong MIT contingent, we are very focused on new technology, but we also have experience in the legacy worlds of banking, software, and supply chain. We travel frequently and collaborate from all over the world. What unites us is our belief in the power of blockchain solutions to transform the global supply chain, and we are willing to work day or night and often both to make that vision a reality. Our strong work ethic, trust in one another, and belief in the cause is what enables us to overcome challenges as we grow and scale our solutions.

Is there a viable use case?

There are an infinite number of use cases in the supply chain space, which is why we are launching an SDK to enable companies to build custom solutions.

In the meantime, our first proof of concept will focus on sourcing and supplier reputation. Despite the many sourcing platforms available, there is currently no way for a buyer to independently verify supplier reputation. Most buyers go through a lengthy process of in-person meetings and factory visits to gauge supplier reliability. Trust is the key factor here, and blockchain is uniquely suited to solve this problem. Eximchain’s SourceAssist solution will enable suppliers to share tamperproof transaction records with data privacy to potential buyers, enabling them to evaluate supplier reliability and make an informed sourcing decision.

We will be announcing more details regarding SourceAssist soon. Join us on Telegram or sign up for our newsletter to make sure you get all of the updates.
