Eximchain welcomes Supply Chain Advisor Peter Abilla
Peter Abilla is a technology and supply chain professional with over 15 years experience improving end-to-end supply chain operations in a variety of businesses ranging from automotive to ecommerce.
He first immersed himself in Supply Chain while a Queueing Researcher at Toyota, where he learned Lean Manufacturing first-hand. Later, he was an early Amazon employee where he played a critical part in pilot programs that eventually led to Fulfillment by Amazon and Amazon Prime. Later at eBay, he helped reduce bad buyer experiences through process improvement and inventory reallocation from seller-controlled to a shared distribution center approach, which included merger and acquisition of 3PL partners. In the last 8 years, he transitioned into demand and growth marketing for startups primarily and is applying lean startup thinking to help businesses grow. He holds an BA in Philosophy and Mathematics from Brigham Young University and an MS in Operations Research from The University of Chicago.
Pete has been an active community member and participant in many projects in the blockchain space over the last 3 years and is an early backer in Eximchain.
Peter is passionate about supply chain — in all its flavors — and is excited about the promise and potential of blockchain technology’s role in improving how businesses operate. He will advice Eximchain with his expertise in both marketing and supply chain fields.
