Awareness is the key to success of any software product. It brings new active users and attention of the investors. It’s hard to imagine a better place to attract investors than tech conferences and events for startups. At the same time, startups have to be picky, because they are often limited financially and have to spend their budgets wisely. Not every tech event guarantees fruitful atmosphere for every startup business. For example, this may vary depending on the industry and the audience. However, there are some conferences that will be almost 100% match for any IT startups. Here’s the list of the five tech events in Q3 — Q4 2017 that will be beneficial for the every software startup.

WEB SUMMIT 2017

Where: Lisbon, Portugal
When: November 6–9, 2017

A universally recognized leader and “Europe’s Largest Technology Event” Web Summit 2017 will take place in beautiful Lisbon November 6–9. About 60,000 attendees from almost 15,000 companies will be presenting their products and sharing industry insights. A perfect atmosphere for startups not only to show themselves and get attention but also learn something new and keep pace with the industry. Why is this event so attractive for startups? Because the significant share of the conference dedicated to finding new companies that are capable of growing from a small startup to the next industry leaders. SLUSH is focused on helping tech startups and top talents to connect with world’s top investors, CXO level participants and media. For example, in 2016 Slush attracted 17, 500 tech — heads, 2,336 startups and 1, 146 investors in search for new and promising business opportunities. If it’s not enough to you to go and book a ticket I’d say that Skype, MySQL, and Spotify were all developed thanks to this tech event.

LONDON TECH WEEK

Where: London, UK
When: June 12–16, 2017

London Tech Week is the hundreds of face to face events across all the city in 6 days. There is no a single event where you can go and see everything. Each event held by a separate host and there is no a single pass ticket that will allow the startup team to attend all the conferences. Of course, London Tech Week has a conference that is dedicated to startups. Since startups are limited in time and sometimes in resources we strongly recommend to pay your attention to Project Kairos. It is the dedicated startup event at TechXLR8, connecting startups with industry and investment.

STARTUP GRIND EUROPE

This year any startup will be able to participate in Startup Grind London among other 75 exhibiting startups and what is even more important among 1500 global founders. Since Startup Grid is one of the largest startup community you’ll get access to investors Q+A’s, hands-on workshops, educational sessions; plus invaluable networking opportunities with startups like you. This year’s agenda and a list of attendees look very promising for those who are eager to develop new business opportunities and show their startup business and vision to the press and investors from all over the globe in general and Silicon Valley in particular. Considering that Startup Grind is a global community you can expect many attendees from the USA as well including California. Also, one of the main reason why this event worth its price is that the exhibitor’s pass, which includes stand, costs only about €950 which is a very reasonable price for all the hype you can get in return.
