The fantasy sports platform integrates real-life sports where users can play in a range of international tournaments associated with these sports. This requires off-chain real-world data, which is validated by decentralized oracles for the fairness and security of the data.
Fanfury uses data being sourced from several different Oracles, like Band, Chainlink, and Supra. Validators will then examine the integrity of the data to authenticate, aggregate, and send it to the Terra Chain for use with the on-chain smart contracts. With these smart contracts, everything is governed on the network, including contest pools and payouts to rake fees to prevent unfair playing practices.
Fanfury’s platform allows users to create their very own fantasy teams where they can employ their skills of predictability and understanding of the sport. Aside from forming teams, users can participate in large prize pools, and head-to-head matchups to earn rewards such as $FURY Tokens. Users can buy $FURY tokens at Fanfury’s swap through the web app, and stake their $FURY tokens with a Team Staking pool of their choice. These tokens can then be redeemed for fiat currency.
