CSM Withdrawal Update
Withdrawal for CSM (ERC20) is now open. Users will be able to deposit CSM from Exonium to Digifinex in order to swap for new CSM.
Do take note that CSM trading on Exonium will be paused during the swap period. Trading on Digifinex will be as per normal.
All CSM (ERC20) token holders will be able to deposit their tokens in Digifinex in order to swap for new CSM tokens. There will not be another swap after the swap period ends so please complete the deposit as soon as possible.
Here are the steps and instructions for the Digifinex CSM swap.
1) Digifinex CSM (ERC20) deposit open on 27th July 2020, 11 am (GMT+8) for users to swap tokens. Withdrawal for CSM on Digifinex will be closed. Do remember to generate a new CSM wallet address.
2) CSM holders will be able to deposit their CSM (ERC20) into Digifinex and it will be converted to the new CSM. Swap period will only last until 2nd August 2020, 11am (GMT+8). All CSM (ERC20) must be swapped within this period.
Deposit date for new CSM on Exonium will be announced once it is confirmed.
Ethereum Network Update
Transaction fees on the Ethereum blockchain are continuing to rise, making it more expensive to send transactions on the network. Transaction fees are measured in Gas and used to pay for operations on the network, such as transactions, smart contracts, decentralized applications and others. The network used 74.033 billion Gas on July 18, an all-time high when measured in Gas. If gas prices rise, it will become more costly to execute transactions within the network.
Exonium recognises this issue and has already adjusted the gas fee in order for a smooth withdrawal of ERC20 tokens for our users. However, gas fee within the Ethereum network is fluctuating. Therefore, we seek your understanding if you are experiencing longer confirmation timing for your withdrawal.
XRP Wallet Update
Exonium will be undergoing a short XRP wallet maintenance. During this period, your deposits on XRP will not be reflected on your account balance. Fret not, your XRP is safe and secured on Exonium wallet. We will complete the maintenance and update our community soon.
Market Trend
The overall cryptocurrency market cap now stands at $316.4 billion. Bitcoin’s dominance index currently at 62.8%.
Bitcoin price set a new 2020 high after the price surged through the multi-year resistance level at 10,500. Bitcoin price rallied to $11,000 mark after managing a strong breakout above the $10,500 level. $11,200 is the next level to keep an eye on, followed by the long-term ascending trend-line of $11,600 up to $12,000. $10,700 to $10,800 is the first support area, followed by the prior 2020 high at $10,500. Further down lies $10,200 and $10,000. The rally caught the attention of mainstream media and casual traders who have grown accustomed to seeing bitcoin rejected in and around the $10,500 mark. After months of lateral moves, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization is finally breaking out. While bitcoin still has a long way to go to prove it’s an established store of value, it continues to defy the odds with astonishing returns.
