Should the internet exist for all?
The internet serves its purpose — to further connect us all and allow us to share information. In order for it to work, it allows people filled with hate the same access that any of the rest of us have. The question is, will the world allow these people who shame, dehumanize, and radicalize others in its midst to capture the mainstream’s views of the world? Will censorship of these posts effectively and fairly stop the spreading of hate speech without disassembling the worldwide web?
