What is Code Reflection

Being that I am considering a career in the tech industry, this week’s reading was especially interesting and pertinent to me. The introduction narrated by a high level executive revealed the acrid sentiments toward IT/this new code driven, internet age that many of past generations share. There are so many things about coding I was not aware of until reading this post, the sheer breadth of programming and its functional uses/actual application is a little daunting as I literally started comp-sci 1 3 weeks ago. But the way the Paul Ford talks about the future of things toward the end of the reading, how Silicon Valley is trying to optimize every aspect of our lives, how dynamic the entirety of the industry is — I’m excited to see where this coding path might take me (most likely off a cliff of my own delusion).
