Black Friday: Where to get the best deals in London?
Unless you’ve started hibernating, you’ve probably noticed that the big day is coming.
Where does this capitalism celebration come from?
Basically Black Friday is the biggest shopping day of the year in the US. It follows Thanksgiving celebrations (last Thursday of November). High street brands generally make great offers up to minus 75%! It is perfect to start your Christmas shopping.
For the last couple of years Black Friday has been transported outside of the USA (what has not actually?) and it is getting quite big in the UK as well!
Shoppers are expected to spend more than £4 billion this year (vs £3.3 billion last year)
With Cyber Monday following on November 28th prepare for a long weekend of shopping!
One last important thing I would recommend is to be cautious over your spending. Indeed, last year, hundreds of deals turned out to be misleading. Remember the saying “too good to be true”? ;)
Where can you find the best deals?
Currys PC world: for electronics and home appliances. The website launched on November 22nd their 10-day Black Tag sale event so you do not even have to wait until Friday to get special offers. More than 3,500 discounted items will be available across all website categories from top brands like Samsung, Dyson, Sony and HP.
Make sure you do some research and compare different products before rushing on a TV or camera model.
Tesco: Perfect if you need to buy toys, video games to your kids or nephews for Christmas. Bargains will be available for 11 days on the Tesco Direct website. (November 21st to December 1st). You can also go to the 700 physical stores that will be open at 5am on Friday!
ASOS: If you do not feel link bumping into people all day long this Friday, Asos helps you fix that. Last week, the fashion website sent a special promo code: THANKFUL30, however this code will only be working on Friday.
