I recently wrote about 11 economics books that everyone should read at least once in their lives.

But what if books aren’t quite your thing? Is there any other way to learn about economics?

A large variety of economics podcasts exist for the sole purpose of answering that question.

Here are the top four economics podcasts I think everyone should be listening to.


Hosted by Russ Roberts, an American-Israeli economist from Shalem College in Jerusalem and Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, EconTalk is one of the most comprehensive—and successful—economics podcasts out there.

It should be noted that EconTalk is not easy listening. Russ Roberts and his guests dive into deep topics, and the conversations on the podcast center primarily on economics but often stray into history, philosophy, literature, and science.
