The right set of audience to join your conference is the prime focus! Many strategies are used to attract audiences.
One of the strategies is to offer a variety of registration options to accommodate a higher number of participants by the ideal attendees’ type.

Registration sales statistics is the first thing that is checked to identify whether the conference was a success. Therefore any conference organizer must pay critical attention to:
a. the types of registrations that will be issued,
b. the price ranges that they will offer,
c. the benefits of each type of registration

The more the variety of registration type choices available, the more registrations will be sold for any conference.

Here are the types of registrations for your next conference.

1. Regular Entry Registrations
Regular entry is a type of registration that offers admission to the conference without any other special privileges like VIP passes, reserved seats, etc. There are no extra services provided to people having this registration, other than an entry to attend the conference.

Most conferences provide this type of registrations. However, the regular entry registration is always given special discounts or offers on it. This is done so that people do not feel like they are getting less and are losing out on things.
To make regular entry registrations more attractive, they are labeled as an “All Access Pass.” Although regular entry does not provide specialized services to people, they do not need to be low in cost. You can always add discount offers on these registrations to get people to buy them.

2. Group Registrations
Group registrations are for those people who wish to attend the conference with a large group of people. For group registrations, the organizers can offer special discounts that benefit both the conference organizers as well as the attendees. For example, group registration type supports corporates for their team to attend the conference in a group.

The admission cost for these conferences is usually higher than the usual fee.

3. Reserved Seat Registrations
The reserved seat registrations provide the people attending the conference to book a seat for themselves. They can choose where they wish to be seated and with whom they want their place to be.

This type of registration is beneficial for conferences where the majority of the time will be spent sitting through lectures, presentations, networking, deal-making propositions, or socializing, etc.

4. Discount Coupons Registrations
For conferences that are done on a small scale, this type of registrations is very beneficial. This is because more people get attracted more towards discounted registrations, and it helps a more significant number of attendees to join in the conference.

This registration type helps you to attract audiences if your conference is during festival season or special holidays or several similar type conferences are competing with your conference.

5. Pre-Booking Registrations
The pre-booking registrations are offered well before the conference. These types of registrations are provided with a promise of many benefits and are usually highly discounted.

Pre-booking registrations for the upcoming conference can also be offered while the current convention is in progress. This can help in promoting the distant conference by selling a massive amount of registrations to the current attendees. They are more likely to buy these registrations in the excitement of being in the on-going conference.

6. Virtual Access Registrations
These types of registrations come in handy for audiences who have budget restrictions. Conferences an also keep generating revenue well after it has ended by posting their content on online platforms and providing its access to audiences with these Virtual Access Passes.

The pre-recorded content posted on online platforms can include conference highlights, popular discussion topics, opinions, and contents. These registrations allow all the potential audiences who were not able to attend the conference to get updated on the conference.

7. Promo Coded Registrations
Promo codes are the special alphanumeric arrangements which are unique on every registration. These promo codes can be used by only those with whom you have shared the code to avail some offer.

You can offer these registrations to the sponsors and conference managers, granting them some benefit that the regular crowd cannot receive. By doing so, you can segregate a part of the conference audience as special attendees without making the other part feel left out and discriminated.

8. Workshop Conference Registrations
Workshops are discussions and activities that are related to a single topic. A conference can have many workshops conducted on different days. Attendees who take part in the conference are usually interested in a unique workshop.

Hence providing this type of registrations for your most popular workshop can attract a larger audience who are either on a budget or are interested singularly in that Workshop.

Strategizing the promotions of your conference plays a significant role in deciding whether it will be a hit or a miss. Therefore, to sell out your conference, provide your audience with registrations that prove to be mutually beneficial for them as well as you!
